Next Generation Recycling Machines GmbH named finalist for "Product Technology Innovation of the Year" at the Plastic Recycling Awards Europe 2023

We are pleased to announce that we have been nominated as finalists in the “Product Technology Innovation of the Year” category at the Plastic Recycling Awards Europe 2023. The nomination recognizes the company’s pioneering work in the field of sustainable plastic recycling, and specifically their innovative P:REACT Bottle2Bottle recycling plant.

The P:REACT uses the revolutionary Liquid State Polycondensation process (LSP), which transforms PET waste and flakes into high-quality, food-grade rPET within minutes by removing all impurities from the PET melt in the liquid phase. The process is not only energy-efficient but also offers better physical cleaning compared to traditional recycling systems.

The winners will be selected by an expert jury and announced on May 11th at the Plastic Recycling Awards Europe in Amsterdam. Matt Barber, Global Events Director at PRSE organizer Crain Communications, emphasizes that “the diversity of the projects and products nominated today demonstrates the impressive progress we have made in the six years since the launch of the Plastic Recycling Awards Europe in the circular economy and sustainable use of plastics.”
